Cement Girl

That test I talked about last Monday.... yeah, I did really poorly on it. Oh well, I guess.

I am spending today in total relaxation mode. I have stuff I should be doing, but I'm rewarding myself with actually getting my 410 rough draft done. it's 2:10 right now, so I have 50 minutes before Dr. Phil and Ellen. Holla!

This Friday my grandma is being honored in our homecoming chapel. She is receiving the Alumni Legacy award (a new one) for having so many family members who have gone to this school (She counts 11). That's pretty good for having three daughters and 6 grandchildren. That counts my grandpa, two aunts, one uncle, both my parents, two cousins (and one of their wives), my brother, my sister-in-law, and myself. hmm... that makes twelve. Maybe she didn't count my grandpa.

Anyway! so we're coming to chapel and standing up front with her while she gets her award, and for someone like me, that's pretty exciting. I'm going to make a onesie for my niece that says "Future alumna of _____ ___ College" so she can wear it on Friday. Holla!

So that is what I am looking forward to this week.

The Garden State soundtrack is pretty much perfect for a rainy, cloudy day. It makes me undeniably sad.
