i hate letting people online subtly tell me if i'm cool or uncool, hip or unhip. I hate that I let it rub me so deep. And i hate that i act like i don't care.
is there any escape?
i don't want to be cool or hip. I want to be true to myself and what I love. Many times those two points come crashing together because perhaps something i love is considered 'cool'. My love for music very often leads to discussions with people and recommendations- the same for reading. And while I love to discover things I hate being the one recommended to. I would like to just be me and be content with that. With all the stupid, lovely, dumb, and amazing things i love.
