So i'm sitting around waiting for this PA party/sleepover thing. I have cleaned my room. This included quite a bit of dusting, and sweeping up my nasty floor. i've unplugged my refrigerator (and left the door open, many thanks to a bad experience my freshman year). I've packed up some books. I've packed up my headphones, my eeyore, my nemo, my records, some cds, A christmas present for someone inmy family, clothes, a picture of the girls on my hall, etc. I'm always so afraid I will miss something. I can't worry too much, however, because I live fifteen minutes away. And although they change the locks during my break, my dad has a master and i can pretty much get in if he will let me.

We had a hall Christmas party last night at my house. That went over pretty well. You can easily satisfy a group of college girls by supplying the following:
-pizza
-pop/juice
-cookies
-presents
-movie
-games

Really!! We were there about 5 hours, and they were completely entertained! It went well. They gave me a card that they had all been signing in the bathroom all night (and i had no idea). My girls are sweet, and wrote some wonderful things.

That, along with my PA evaluation with my supervisor made me feel good about what I've done this semester. He had no complaints, and said I was great, and God had definitely put me on this hall for a reason, with the girls that I had. He said I was perfectly fit for the group of girls i have. That made me want to cry, but i held it in :)

Yeah. So i've cleaned up. I'm sitting around waiting. Brandtson's "Fallen Star Collection" is playing, which seems pretty perfect. This weekend April is moving, I'm in live nativity, I'm going to a wedding shower. Things always get hectic during Christmas season.

I've picked up these books from the library:
Douglas Coupland: "Portraits from the Dead", "Shampoo Planet"
Kurt Vonnegut: "_____ ______, Mr. Rosewater"

I'm looking forward to a full night's sleep. Not tonight, maybe I can hope for Saturday night.

oh yeah! So I used to chat in chat rooms when i started getting involved in stuff online, around 15 and 16. I met quite a few people in there. Up until about my freshman year I talked occassionally with Sarah. We haven't talked since, but she IMed me out of the blue the other night, which was very nice. We talked, and we still have a bit in common, meaning that we're both going to be teachers. She is on student teaching next semester though! She gave me a little shout out on her blog, so i thought I'd do the same. Thanks Sarah!

so i'm pretty much done. It's all ending. (This semester anyway :) )

I finished my notebook for my exceptional learner's class, and I have no finals this week. Just work, and plan a party... which ... this could be a really good week!

I have a job for Tuesday and Wednesday and my availability is still open tomorrow. Wednesday night-church. Thursday: take mikki to the airport, go to the dentist, hall christmas party. Friday..... nothing--- everyone moves out (So say goodbye to everyone). Saturday April and Michele are moving, so i might go over to help them. Saturday, Sunday and Monday night I'm in the live nativity. I need to call work and tell them when I can work the next week.

Yeah. I'm looking forward to winding down... earning some money and taking time out to read and all that kind of stuff. Sounds good to me.
