Well i got back to school. I'm happy I'm here.

I didn't use my laptop all summer, because I just didn't need to, but now I'm back on it, and realizing all this music that totally MADE my freshman year at college. It was old stuff I discovered, new stuff i fell in love with, etc. here's a short list.

I discovered:
Weezer's blue album
Oasis "wonderwall"
Seville "Reformer"
Red Animal War
Smashing Pumpkins
Cake (through one of my favorite bands doing an awesome cover)
the lassie foundation
Foo Fighters "everlong"

And this this summer I discovered (through shows, cds I bought, not through downloading music)
Ester Drang (mmm pretty)
Cool Hand Luke
Fine China
And hopefully when I get my cds in the mail, i'll be discovering Lewis and Appleseed Cast.. yay!

I've got nothing to write about school right now. Orientation week was long, and tiring, but it was fun. I have mixed feelings about all the new freshmen coming in. Our freshmen class was so small, and sorta tight knit. All the girls were so unique... and there's this weird group coming in now.. I don't know. I guess it's just mix feelings. Right now i'm stalling on finding a job, that's why i'm writing in my blog. Nobody really reads it anymore. I left Vagrant because I knew I shouldn't be there, I was busy with orientation, and someone were saying stuff about me, that i just didn't care for. So now .. i don't know what to do with myself online. I don't really want to get involved with another message board, that all gets kinda stupid... i'm trying to discover what life off the computer is like. Seriously- the computer has been my social life line since i was 15. I'm such a loser. But i've got good friends now (we had wonderful conversation last night on the lawn, and discovered the raccoon mafia hiding on our campus). And i've got something to occupy my time, something I need to seriously strive after (my schoolwork)... so we'll see what happens.
