i don't know why my paragraphs are like that on the last post. it seems quite odd. I didn't double-enter. i swear.
So the house is looking like this: we have a futon and a couch in our small living room, and two funky chairs. the chairs are probably going away, and the futon is going in the basement. we have another couch we like much better, but we might be keeping both couches, if they will fit. So it might be two couches, my hairdryer chair, and a tv (if we have one).
I haven't found a dining room table yet, which was my job, because i want a chrome/formica one from the 50's, but... no such luck yet.
In my room have a twin bed frame and headboard, with a weird platform thing (no box spring), so my bed will be low- but that's totally fine with me. I bought this weird small bookcase at bed, bath and beyond because it was so cheap (16 bucks after i used a coupon). My dad brought over this metal bookcase that i'm sure we'll use. Maybe it needs to be painted. I also got a leftover desk (which is HUGE) from someone who works at the college.. and dad said i could use it. That's a lot of money I don't have to spend now.
I need to make some curtains for our room. We have this funky fold-door for our bathroom that we hate, so we want to take it off and replace it with a curtain, and use the same fabric on our small closet doorways (that have no doors). It's a very funky room, and so only pictures can explain... i'll try to do those when we move in.
That's all i got for ya. And i bought a cool old cheese grater. the power of cheese.
in other news- it's terribly hot here in town- it's supposed to be 104 today. And now i'm going to leave and drive to a job in my non air conditioned car.
