chalk this one up: One of my favorite smells is little children fresh out of a chlorinated pool. mmm.

on another note: i don't think it's very good that nearly every morning i've woken up, and the first thing I think to myself is "i can't wait for this day to be over so i can go back to sleep". I know most people think the same thing, but it's not that usual for me. And it's not that I don't want to face the days, it's that all I can ever think about is going back to sleep.

you should hire me, and yes, that's my professional opinion. I looked good today, I smiled a lot, I made you laugh! I have a good range of experience for a place like this.. pleeeease!

in other news (or somewhat related news): after being on my best behavior (and in my best clothes- i looked so good today) in the fifth grade class, and in my interview, it felt really good to get in my car, roll the window down (not worrying about my hair flying all over), and turn on some rock and roll.

i counted on my fingers... i get to see my niece in ten days! i wonder if she'll be walking by then.. hmm.

i just freaked out realizing everything i'm doing these last few weeks of school... and how okay I feel about it all. If you had told me when i started college that i would be able to handle all of these crazy things happening, i would've laughed at you and promptly dropped out of college. Besides classes and 14 hours of practicum this week, I have done or will do:
staff meeting, organized a hall activity of bowling (AND blind dates), teach a lesson to a class of peers, interview for a job, contact the leader on the phone and then visit his boy scout troop and take pictures, teach a jr. high lesson on the books of the Bible, babysit for a family i've met once before, practice string bass for JURIES of all things, spend a day at the beach with my PA staff.

i used to need someone to hold my hand through all of this. i know pride comes before the fall. Jesus help me.

-and now i'm back here.

and.... i can see the end of the school year in sight!

and it seems that i have one person who reads this blog. and his name is seth.
