Things that are good:

-Friends rescuing you after a pitifully boring day and inviting yourself with them to the bookstore, and to Denny's.

-Going to bookstore, and just perusing... and then finding two books you really really want, so you buy. These include an old hardback To Kil a Mockingbird, and "A love Supreme: The Story of John Coltrane's Signature Album" on clearance. I've never actally heard the cd, but everyone talks about it-- so it might be neat to read about it before i listen. Maybe not. Maybe i need to get it before read it, though i really am broke now.

-Driving around this beautifuly city. I'm reminded every time i venture out why I love this place.

-Driving my car.. mmm baby.

-Going to Saturday Market. fun fun. Even though I didn't buy anything.

-Going to the library and picking up two books by Douglas Coupland.

-my piercing healing.

-cleaning my room. I swept (even removed the rugs).. and even cleaned off countertops with a wet paper towel. I feel so... organized! It's a beautiful thing.

-Seeing my niece. I love her so much.

Tonight we had a hall meeting.

We talked about hall sweatshirts.

The girls at one point decided that they want the back of our sweatshirts to say:

"We think our PA might be Satan"

yeah.

Wow. I decided to go back and look at a lot of my archives, started from the very oldest ones- reading about my summer. Crazy stuff! I've decided that sometime I want to print out everything and staple it together or something. Maybe I should do July to July.. A year in the life of Meghan! ha.

Anyway- it brought a lot of memories and a lot of good reminders about where I've come from, and things I told myself never to forget (and then I did).

It reminded me how much i thought and felt last summer when I was so lonesome, and how much I loved my music because it was all that i had. And how much I miss my cousins. And how much i can't wait to get back up to Long Beach and see family.

the end.
