Let's see... Christmas was nice. It was sort of extended and drawn out, and by the time Christmas day actually arrived, we all felt it to be over.

Since Joel and Rinda had to drive home Wednesday morning we had our Christmas dinner Monday night and opened presents. That was fun. It's nice to have a baby around to spoil and watch open presents- she's getting really good at pulling tissue out! of course Hannah was mostly intrigued by the paper and ribbon, and not her presents. She, of course, is beautiful as always. She had an adorable Christmas dress she wore a lot this weekend (Sunday at church, Monday evening for presents, and I think Tuesday night). And yeah, Tuesday night we all went out to a nice steakhouse with my two aunts, their husbands and my grandma. Tuesday Joel and Rinda even went and exchanged/returned things, so we felt Christmas was all over!

Christmas morning I slept in. I got ready and Mom made us a simple breakfast. I think Mom felt bad about not having a real Christmas, so when I woke up I had one last present hanging on my door: The new Switchfoot dvd "Switchfootage" and a Switchfoot hat. Weeeeee. I was happy: so of course I spent Christmas morning watching that dvd.

We went to see Cold Mountain on Christmas. It was pretty decent. I could've done without some of the sex scenes- if you've seen it, you know what i mean.

Umm.. Yeah! So then yesterday my mom came home early from work. My dad left yesterday morning for Mexico. Mom and I went to Target and did some shopping. I spent 58 dollars of my Christmas money on new clothes- but for that price I got 4 clothing items, a pair of tights, two shirts for a baby and a pair of shoes for a baby; both for a birthday present. so geesh! i did good.

TODAY!! Today was the big shopping day. Mom and I went all over. Wal-mart, the outlet mall (just one store), Old Navy, Grocery Outlet, Christian Supply, antique stores, target again. We actually didn't buy that much, though it may seem like it from all the stores we went to.

I got the new Nichole Nordeman songbook.

The BEST prize of the day, however, is a short little endtable/nightstand thing with two drawers we picked up at an antique store. it is SO cute. Probably circa 1940 or so. And the thing is, it's NICE. it's a nice piece. Some bad pieces have a piece of plywood on the back or something, but this is nice wood all the way around, and it was only 28 dollars! I'm going to take it to school with me and put it next to my hairdryer chair. Voila! perfect.

and now i'm done, cause i write too much.
