Somehow reading Flannery O'Connor's "Wise Blood" and listening to Neutral Milk Hotel's "In an Aeroplane Over the Sea" fit together really well. I think different continents, and perhaps a little different time period, but it sounds good together (the book in my head, the music externally).

I don't know what it is, but why have I become okay with giving violent threats to my friends, even in joking? "Don't say anything or I'll slit your throat". ew meghan.
