Mmmm Copeland is good. And seeing them play is nice. Hanging out is nice. And... the place we went is really, really great. I want to see a lot more shows there. You can go upstairs in the bar and watch from over the rail or play pool. It's in a cool 1920's style with white walls, dark wood accents, and Tiffany style lamps. Woo wee. nice.

I have nothing much to say.

Stephanie organized the chapel yesterday, focusing on the poverty in our area, and what we are called to do. She read statistics and went back and forth with Donovan who read scripture. Four students speakers then talked about the Hot Chocolate thing. I spoke first. And i cried toward the end. How embarrassing. So yesterday and today people are saying "you did a good job" or "great job!" and i can only think that they feel sorry for having cried in chapel. Nobody ever cries in chapel! i'm just an emotional ball of tears.

We hung up Christmas lights while listening to Sufjan Stevens' Christmas cd. We watched an episode of Freaks and Geeks (fake keg of beer.. yes!), Amazing Race, and then Stephanie and I got invited over to Jess to talk with him, Marcus, and Nate about the state of the Church, and their vision for the future. That lasted a whopping three hours... and as Stephanie noted: wasn't quite as productive as it should have been. Oh well.

I spent a good deal of time (almost an hour) in the auditorium today practicing bass and playing the piano. My handel bass piece is nice, i've almost got it down, except for the stupid slurs that I'll have to talk to my teacher about tomorrow- some of them really get me screwed up.

Merry Christmas to everyone- i hope everyone has a nice season of remembering and giving.
"Mistletoe hangs up in the bedroom
your sister's bangs she cut them herself
Santa is here, sleighbells are ringing
21 elves, they are all singing
KMart is closed, so is the bakery
Everyone's home watching Tv"
