It's been a good day today. Chapel was wonderful- Jess spoke about the year's theme "The world beyond me" and really put a lot of things into my mind... the most important being that Christ really is the center of everything and is what we should be working for, in all aspects. I hope I learn a lot about selflessness because that's really what i need to sink in. This all happened right after I got an e-mail from Ruth Ann almost confirming the fact that I'll be going to Mexico in the spring. Of course, then Jess had to go and say some things about Mexico that made me weepy... and things are just turning around... it's good to think about these things, and how they all work into one purpose.

Then I had a class called Teacher as Manager. Our school is really small and a lot of the Education people are always in the same classes, so you feel comfortable, and that's just... nice. The professor is new our school and so I, for one, was wondering what he was going to be like. Super cool guy- really funny. I'm REALLY excited for my Ed classes this term... I'm really longing to find out all the information I need to know to get kids interested in learning, besides many other things. The professors' passions for education, schools, and kids really rubs off.

Besides that fact that this Tanner guy is just really funny. He was joking around about how since we are going to be teachers, we get a guaranteed spot in heaven. And we made up classroom rules, and one of them was to be interested, and he said "or at least act interested". And he likes to have a superhero stance once in a while. He's just funny and I can tell I'm going to like him.
