Cement Girl

snow ruins things.. mainly school plans. I'm sitting here waiting to go to the res. life office to put together packets or something... for new students. At least i think that's what we're doing. Since the roof on the bookstore partially collapsed (!!!) yesterday, and the roads are still iffy, i got to drive with my dad to school this morning at 6:30am!! weee.

i haven't done anything really, since getting here. I unpacked the few things i brought with me today. I said hello to my lovely room that i have missed for the last month (i love you my chair!) and went and played the piano pretty horrible. I read mail. I was upset that because of the snow no one came in this week to sort mail so my bandoppler magazine is sitting in that mailroom someplace, NOT IN MY BOX. but that's okay.

I took down Christmas decorations and some old signs. I redid the calendar in the hallway. I put out the cookies that i made for everyone :) and.. now i have to go meet people and do a job or something. I wonder if i can walk down there in my socks? Indeed I shall. If we're shoveling walks I'll come back and get my boots. yipee.

Oh yeah- i did have a rousing time with april and sarah yesterday. They came and picked me up on the bus (which i haven't ridden in forever.. as in, 15 years) and went to the shopping center. Then we took lightrail and the bus back to their apartment... and finally got back to their place- feet soaking wet.

but those two girls.. they're the ones i would want to have an adventure like that with... laughing the whole way.
